The Damned to perform 50th anniversary concert in Bristol
Punk rock veterans The Damned are scheduled to perform at the Bristol Beacon on November 28 as part of their ‘Final Damnation 50’ UK tour. The concert celebrates the band’s 50th anniversary, marking half a century since they emerged from the first wave of British punk in 1976.
The touring lineup includes Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, Paul Gray, and Monty Oxymoron. This performance follows an anniversary concert at London’s OVO Arena Wembley and precedes a global tour that will include stops at the Sydney Opera House and in North America.
Supporting the event will be The Saints ’73-’78, featuring founding guitarist Ed Kuepper and drummer Ivor Hay, alongside Mick Harvey and Jim White. The supporting act will perform material from their first three albums to coincide with their own 50-year milestone.
