The Dance Studio Leeds named a Nation’s Favourite Business

The Dance Studio Leeds has been named one of the Nation’s Favourite Businesses for 2026 by the Small Business Saturday campaign. Based in Mabgate Mills, the adult dance studio was founded by Katie Geddes in 2009 and focuses on promoting mental and physical wellbeing through dance.

The selection follows a nationwide search as part of a campaign to champion independent firms ahead of Small Business Saturday on December 5. This year's initiative represents a change from the previous SmallBiz100 format. Earlier in 2026, founder Katie Geddes was also recognized as one of the UK’s leading female founders by Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur campaign.
