The Dangers in My Heart manga concludes after eight years

The manga series ‘The Dangers in My Heart’ (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) by Rio Sakurai has officially concluded its serialization after eight and a half years. The final chapter was released on September 15, 2026, on the Champion Cross platform.

Author Rio Sakurai expressed gratitude to readers, noting that the series' completion after such a long period brings a sense of relief. Sakurai described the work as a source of “small light” for readers and noted that the characters have grown alongside the audience. While the manga has ended, a third season of the anime adaptation is confirmed for production and is expected to air in 2027.

The series, which follows the romantic comedy relationship between Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada, has achieved significant commercial success, with cumulative circulation exceeding 7 million copies.
