The Devil Wears Prada 2 launches on Disney+ and JioHotstar worldwide
The sequel to the 2006 fashion film "The Devil Wears Prada" premiered in theatres on May 2, 2026 and received strong audience praise. Beginning July 29, 2026 the movie will be streamed on Disney+ and Hulu in selected international markets and on India's JioHotstar, where it will be offered in English and Hindi. The story follows Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) and former assistant Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) as they navigate a digitally‑driven media landscape, confronting corporate interference and a power struggle involving former colleague Emily Charlton. The film, directed by David Frankel and based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel, features cameo appearances by Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace and other fashion figures. It reunites much of the original cast, including Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh and Lucy Liu, and adds new talent. Streaming listings across Germany, the Netherlands and India highlight the film as a major entertainment release for the summer season.
