The Devil Wears Prada sequel set for 2026 release

Disney has officially scheduled a theatrical release for the sequel to the 2006 comedy “The Devil Wears Prada” for May 1, 2026. While reports suggest Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt may return, official cast confirmations are still pending.

In conjunction with the film's legacy, the auction house Christie’s will host an auction in early September featuring selected costumes and accessories from the franchise. The collection includes designer pieces from brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, and Schiaparelli worn by the film's cast.

An exclusive auction will also take place during New York Fashion Week. Proceeds from the sales are intended to benefit the professional association of American fashion designers and a committee for the protection of journalists.
