The Dog Stars home media release dates announced

20th Century Studios has announced the home release dates for Ridley Scott’s post-apocalyptic thriller, ‘The Dog Stars’. Based on the bestseller by Peter Heller, the film will be available on premium digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and Fandango at Home, starting October 27, 2026.

Following the digital release, the film will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 1, 2026. Physical media releases are expected to include exclusive bonus content, such as behind-the-scenes footage and deleted scenes. While a specific streaming date for Hulu and Disney+ has not been confirmed, the film is expected to eventually join those services.

The story stars Jacob Elordi as Hig, a pilot living in an isolated homestead with a military survivalist played by Josh Brolin. The plot follows Hig as he ventures into the unknown after receiving a mysterious radio transmission. The ensemble cast also includes Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Allison Janney, and Benedict Wong.
