The Doors to release new live album ‘Unbound and Dangerous’

The rock band The Doors will release a new live album titled ‘Unbound and Dangerous’ on October 23. The 16-track collection features concert performances from the band’s 1970 Roadhouse Blues tour.

Surviving members Robby Krieger and John Densmore supervised the project alongside longtime engineer and mixer Bruce Botnick. Most recordings were captured during tour stops in New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Detroit, though the album also includes a 1969 performance of ‘Soul Kitchen’ from Hollywood’s Aquarius Theatre.

The release will be available on CD, digital platforms, and as a 2-LP set on translucent red vinyl. A Blu-ray version will also be released, featuring Botnick’s new Dolby Atmos and high-resolution stereo mixes.
