FromSoftware sets August 2026 network test for Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods

FromSoftware announced a closed network test for its upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, The Duskbloods. The test will run from 21 to 24 August 2026, with registration opening on 22 July and closing on 28 July. Participants must own a Nintendo Switch 2 console and have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Up to eight players can join each session, which will evaluate server load, multiplayer functionality, and game‑balance under real‑world conditions.

The test is positioned as a final pre‑launch check, similar to the Nightreign beta for Elden Ring, and is scheduled just before the Gamescom event. Based on the timing, analysts expect the full game to launch later in 2026, likely around November. The network test will help the studio address any technical issues before the commercial release.
