The Eftychia Project organizes return journey for Greek adoptees

The Eftychia Project is organizing the 5th Annual Meeting of Greek Adoptees from October 11 to 17, 2026. The event facilitates a journey of return for dozens of Greeks who were born in Greece but adopted and raised abroad, primarily in the United States.

The itinerary includes a tour through various Greek regions, starting in Athens and traveling through Thessaloniki, Vergina, Meteora, Metsovo, and Ioannina. The journey will conclude in Western Greece, with scheduled stops in Nafpaktos and Kalavryta, including a visit to the Site of Sacrifice. The project aims to help participants reconnect with their biological families, their place of birth, and their Greek identity.
