The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes announced for 2027

The action RPG 'The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes' has been officially announced for a 2027 release. This marks the first console adaptation of the popular light novel and anime franchise, which has sold over eight million copies worldwide.

Developed by Team Caravan and published by Aiming, the game will feature roguelite elements. It is confirmed for PlayStation 5, PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), and the Nintendo Switch 2. NIS America will handle Western distribution, while Clouded Leopard Entertainment will manage the Asian market.

The game follows the story of Cid Kagenou, who reincarnates into a fantasy world and adopts the persona of 'Shadow' to lead the organization Shadow Garden. While Cid initially believes he is merely roleplaying against a fictional cult, he discovers that the 'Cult of Diablos' is a real threat.
