The Entertainer to open new Trafford Centre store in Manchester

The Entertainer announced that it will open a new specialist toy shop at Manchester’s Trafford Centre in September, occupying a unit on Upper Regent Crescent. The store will stock more than 3,000 items, including toys and games from LEGO, Mattel, Hasbro and Zuru, as well as trading cards and collectibles from Pokémon, One Piece, Panini and Topps, and licensed products such as Stranger Things and K‑Pop Demon Hunters. Group chief executive Andrew Murphy said the outlet is expected to rival the chain’s Bluewater flagship for the highest sales among its 150‑plus stores. The opening marks the retailer’s eighth store launch in the past 12 months, following recent expansions in Hatfield, Leeds and Brighton. Trafford Centre, which receives around 23 million visitors annually, welcomed the addition as a strong boost to its family‑focused retail mix.
