The Estée Lauder Companies expands executive leadership roles

The Estée Lauder Companies has announced the expansion of leadership roles for two key executives as part of its ongoing digital and organizational transformation.

Brian Franz has been appointed Chief Technology and Transformation Officer. In this expanded capacity, he will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, oversee the global IT team, and drive the integration of partnerships with companies such as Shopify and Accenture. A central focus of his role will be the promotion of artificial intelligence, including providing the company’s 14,000 employees with access to AI productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, as well as utilizing AI to improve manufacturing efficiencies.

Amber English has been named President, Digital & Online for the Americas and Global Amazon Lead. This new role includes responsibility for managing the company’s global relationship with Amazon.

Both executives will continue to report directly to President and CEO Stéphane de La Faverie and will remain members of the company’s Executive Team. These appointments are effective immediately.
