The Fable anime season 2 set for January 2027 release

The second season of the anime series ‘The Fable’ is scheduled to premiere on January 9, 2027. Produced by Tezuka Productions, the new season will follow a weekly release schedule on Saturdays.

This installment will adapt the ‘Yamaoka Arc’ from the manga by Katsuhisa Minami. The story follows Akira Sato, a legendary assassin attempting to live a quiet life, as he faces a new threat from Yamaoka, a high-ranking professional within his former organization. While the first season focused on Akira’s struggle to avoid killing, the upcoming arc introduces a direct conflict involving the structures of the Fable organization.

In France, the series is expected to be available on Disney+. The production team includes director Ryosuke Takahashi and a returning voice cast featuring Kazuyuki Okitsu as Akira Sato and Miyuki Sawashiro as Yoko Sato.
