The Foreshadowing release title track from new album Ozymandias
Italian gothic and doom metal band The Foreshadowing has released ‘Ozymandias’, the title track and second single from their upcoming album of the same name. The album is scheduled for release on November 20 via Lifeforce Records.
Inspired by Percy Bysshe Shelley’s sonnet, the title track explores the erosion of human creativity, memories, and voices over time. While the theme touches on the decay of emotional civilization, the band describes the nine-song record as balancing melancholy with themes of hope and inner strength. The musical style combines heavy metal elements with keyboards, synthesizers, and atmospheric instrumental passages.
The new album was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö, with artwork provided by Bunker Artworks. This release marks the Rome-based group's second album with Lifeforce Records, following 2024's ‘New Wave Order’.
