The Game Awards 2026 jury includes 14 Brazilian outlets

The Game Awards has released details regarding its 2026 jury and eligibility criteria. Brazil has secured the third-largest jury presence in the event, with 14 media outlets participating. This puts Brazil ahead of major gaming markets such as France, Japan, and Spain, trailing only the United States and the United Kingdom, which each have 17 representatives.

The Brazilian jury includes various platforms such as Folha de S. Paulo, Veja, TechTudo, Omelete, and Canaltech, among others. This expansion marks a significant increase from previous years.

Regarding game eligibility, the cutoff date for awards is November 20. This timeline makes Grand Theft Auto VI eligible for major categories, including Game of the Year. The ceremony, hosted by Geoff Keighley, is scheduled for December 10.
