The Great British Bake Off features new judge Nigella Lawson

During a recent episode of The Great British Bake Off, contestants faced a difficult Technical challenge involving blue cheese and grape flatbreads. Judges Paul Hollywood and Nigella Lawson noted that many of the flatbreads were undersized and raw, leading Hollywood to describe the segment as an “embarrassment of a Technical challenge.”

As the series progresses into its 17th season, the competition features a diverse group of amateur bakers, including a paediatric doctor and a drag king. Nigella Lawson has joined the judging panel following the departure of Dame Prue Leith, serving alongside Paul Hollywood. The show continues to be hosted by Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.
