The Great Khali visits Assam to support flood relief efforts

Professional wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, known as ‘The Great Khali’, visited the Sivasagar district in Assam to support families affected by recent flooding. During a two-day visit, he participated in relief efforts organized by the True Hope Foundation, the Ayan Foundation, and the Deeplina Deka Foundation.

Relief materials, including beds, mattresses, blankets, pillows, and water filters, were distributed to approximately 400 to 500 families in villages such as Dorika Kaibarta. In addition to material aid, Khali visited Tengahola at Bamun Pukhuri to support a house-construction initiative aimed at rebuilding homes for flood victims. He also laid the foundation stone for a proposed Hanuman temple in the area.

Khali appealed to other celebrities to use their influence to support communities facing natural disasters, stating that helping during a crisis is a collective responsibility.
