The Guardian names two players of Albanian descent to Top 60 list

The British newspaper The Guardian has released its annual list of the “Top 60” most promising young football players in the world, focusing on talents born in 2009. The list includes two players of Albanian descent, Altin Azemi and Adri Mehmeti.

Altin Azemi has played for Neuchâtel Xamax and previously became the youngest scorer in the Swiss second division at age 15 years and 11 months. While he has played for Swiss youth teams, he is also being monitored by Kosovo.

Adri Mehmeti, who previously played for Albania's U15 team, has shown significant progress with the New York Red Bulls. His performance led to a call-up by Mauricio Pochettino to the United States senior national team.
