The Guest List releases debut album “Something Real” and holds Tokyo sign‑on event

British five‑piece rock band The Guest List, formed in Manchester, will issue their debut album Something Real worldwide on 28 August 2026. Produced by Matias Tellez, the record tackles topics such as mental health, anxiety, male suicide, domestic violence, climate collapse and societal anger. Frontman Cai Alty described the work as “our cry as young people, confused like you, searching for meaning in an overwhelming world.” The band is also slated to perform at Summer Sonic 2026.

To promote the release, the group will host a sign‑and‑gift event at Tower Records Shibuya on 13 August 2026. Fans who pre‑order the album or purchase the EP When The Lights Are Out at the store from 8 August will receive a ticket to the event, where signed posters and CD jackets will be distributed.
