The Hambagu Shop announced for Nintendo Switch

Serafini Productions and Mike Ten have announced that The Hambagu Shop, a cozy horror simulator, is coming to the Nintendo Switch. One report indicates a target release window of Q1 2027.

Players take on the role of Mari, who inherits her late grandfather’s Japanese hamburg steak shop. The gameplay loop involves grilling patties, preparing rice bowls with various toppings, and managing shop upgrades to expand the menu and increase profits.

Despite the cozy management elements, the game features horror components, including a creepy atmosphere, loud jumpscares, and haunting visions that suggest the shop is haunted. The title will utilize a VHS aesthetic to create a nostalgic and unsettling environment while players uncover Mari’s personal story.
