The Heavy North release new soul-infused single ‘Alive’

Liverpool-based blues-rock band The Heavy North has released a new single titled ‘Alive’. The track explores themes of infatuation and the vulnerability of unrequited love, blending gritty rock foundations with soul and psychedelic influences.

The single was recorded at 3rd Planet Recording Studio in Granada, Spain, with production by guitarist Jose Ibanez, and completed with additional recording in Liverpool. The release comes as the band prepares for their third studio album, following the success of their 2023 record, Delta Shakedown.

A music video for the track was filmed at The Kazimier Stockroom in Liverpool, emphasizing the band’s identity as a live unit.
