HISTORY Channel launches new documentary series History oder Mystery
The HISTORY Channel is releasing a new documentary series titled ‘History oder Mystery?’, hosted by Matthias Henke. The series explores unsolved historical mysteries and enigmatic locations, including the Teufelsberg in Berlin, the ghost stations of Berlin, and the legend of Ritter Kahlbutz in Stralsund.
The production utilizes a combination of real footage filmed at original historical sites and AI-generated scenes to visualize historical events. The series consists of four episodes, each lasting between eight and ten minutes.
Initially, the episodes will be available every Friday at 4:00 PM on the HISTORY Channel’s YouTube channel. A linear television premiere is scheduled for January 28, 2027, as part of the ‘Mystery January’ special programming, where all four episodes will air consecutively starting at 9:45 PM.
