The Home Depot invests 406 million pesos in Querétaro
The Home Depot has opened a new branch, Querétaro La Luz, representing an investment of 406 million pesos. The project is expected to generate 100 direct jobs and 350 indirect jobs in the northwest zone of the capital.
Querétaro Mayor Felifer Macías signed a collaboration agreement during the opening, emphasizing that the municipality provides legal certainty and streamlined procedures to attract investors. The project reportedly competed against investment alternatives in the United States and Canada before being finalized in Querétaro.
The event was attended by Governor Mauricio Kuri González and José Antonio Rodríguez Garza, president and general director of The Home Depot. This new location joins existing branches in Bernardo Quintana, Huimilpan, San Juan del Río, Juriquilla, Corregidora, Nodo Logístico, and El Refugio.
