The Housemaid movie releases new Japanese trailer and poster

A new Japanese trailer and poster visual have been released for the suspense thriller ‘The Housemaid’, directed by Paul Feig and starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. Based on the bestselling novel by Freida McFadden, the film follows Millie, a young woman hired as a live-in maid for the wealthy Winchester family.

While the job initially appears to be an ideal opportunity, Millie soon encounters unsettling behavior from the wife, Nina, and a series of mysterious occurrences within the mansion, including a locked attic and strange medications. The film, which has seen significant global commercial success, is scheduled for release in Japan on November 27, 2026.
