The Hu releases new music video for ‘Warrior Chant’

Mongolian rock band The Hu has released an official music video for ‘Warrior Chant,’ a track from their third studio album, HUN. The song features the band’s signature ‘Hunnu Rock’ sound, which integrates heavy metal and rock with traditional Mongolian instrumentation, including the horse head fiddle (morin khuur), Mongolian wind instruments, and heavy percussion.

The band members noted that the track’s rhythm is rooted in Mongolian culture, specifically imitating the gait of a horse through fiddle solos. Following the digital and CD release, the album HUN will see a wider physical rollout via Better Noise Music, including vinyl editions in Europe and a UK release in October.

The Hu is scheduled to embark on a 23-city headlining tour across the UK and Europe starting September 29, beginning in Glasgow. Prior to this tour, the group is supporting Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson on the ‘Freaks On Parade’ tour in the United States.
