The HU releases new music video for ‘Warrior Chant’

Mongolian folk metal band The HU has released a new cinematic music video for their song ‘Warrior Chant’. The track is part of their third studio album, ‘The Hun’.

According to band member Galbadrakh ‘Gala’ Tsendbaatar, the song features the group’s signature rhythm rooted in Mongolian culture. The production utilizes traditional Mongolian instruments, including horse head fiddle solos designed to imitate a horse gait, Mongolian wind instruments, and heavy percussion. The music video depicts a transition from a modern setting to an encounter with ancient warriors.

Following the digital release, the band is launching vinyl variations of ‘The Hun’. Distribution begins in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in mid-September, expanding to wider Europe on September 18, and reaching the UK on October 9 via Better Noise Music. Box sets are expected to arrive later in October.
