The Invite arrives on digital streaming platforms

The comedy-drama ‘The Invite’, directed by Olivia Wilde, has transitioned to digital streaming platforms. Following its theatrical run, the film is now available for digital purchase and rental on services such as Prime Video.

An English-language remake of the 2020 Spanish film ‘The People Upstairs’, the movie features a screenplay by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack. The plot follows a married couple, played by Wilde and Seth Rogen, whose dinner party with neighbors played by Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton spirals into unexpected chaos.

The film has seen significant critical and commercial success, earning a 97% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and a worldwide box office total of approximately $42.9 million against an estimated $12 million production budget.
