The Last Blossom anime to open in US theaters for two nights

Japanese anime film *The Last Blossom*—directed by Baku Kinoshita and written by Kazuya Konomoto—will be shown in select US theaters on August 30 and 31, 2026. The limited two‑night run will present the movie in its original Japanese language with English subtitles. GKIDS has released the official US trailer and announced that tickets are now on sale. The film, produced by Studio CLAP and featuring voice talent such as Kaoru Kobayashi and Hikari Mitsushima, premiered at the 2025 Annecy International Animated Film Festival and opened in Japan in October 2025 before its US theatrical debut.
