The Last Dino animated film announces voice cast and distribution

The upcoming CG-animated family feature, The Last Dino, has revealed its English-language voice cast, including Hayley Atwell, Maisie Williams, and Bill Nighy. Directed by Federico Milella and written by Ben Smith, the film is produced by Luxembourg-based Fabrique d’Images in co-production with Belgium-based Freaks Factory.

The story follows Rex, the son of the King of Dinosaurs, who is transported 65 million years into the future. Finding himself in a world where dinosaurs are extinct, Rex must navigate a society where intelligence is valued over physical strength while searching for a way back home alongside an unlikely group of friends.

The film is scheduled for international theatrical releases in 2027 and will make its market premiere at the American Film Market. Global Constellation, a Vuelta company, is managing international sales. Distribution deals have been secured in various territories, including France (KMBO), the UK and Ireland (Sky Original), Australia and New Zealand (Umbrella), and several other regions across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
