The Last Hotel in St. Louis to rejoin Hyatt as Hyatt Centric

The Last Hotel in St. Louis is set to rejoin the Hyatt brand as a Hyatt Centric following a period of financial instability and ownership disputes. The property, which had previously been part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection, abruptly severed its affiliation in 2021 and stopped honoring existing award reservations.

After a series of legal battles involving financing, wrongful termination claims, and a period in receivership that led to a sudden closure in March 2025, the property was purchased for $14 million by the Georgia-based Singh Investment Group. The acquisition aims to stabilize the hotel and reintegrate it into the Hyatt network under a new brand identity.
