The Last Sunrise film premieres on Prime Video

The story follows Oriah “Ry” Pera, a young woman living with tuberous sclerosis, a genetic condition that causes seizures. While traveling to Mallorca, Spain, with her mother, Isolde, Ry faces a difficult medical choice: undergo brain surgery that risks her memory or continue a medication regimen that leaves her feeling emotionally numb. During her stay on the island, she develops a romance with a local man named Julián, which complicates her struggle for independence and her management of her health.
