The Legend of Heroes III launches on Nintendo Switch

D4 Enterprise has released ‘The Legend of Heroes III: The White Witch Renewal PC-9801’ on the Nintendo Switch via its ‘EGG Console’ service. The title is available for 980 yen.

Originally released by Nihon Falcom in 1994, this ‘Renewal’ version features improved systems and game balance compared to the original. The RPG follows characters Julio and Chris on a pilgrimage that leads them to investigate the mystery of the White Witch. The game is the first entry in the ‘Gagharv Trilogy,’ the second phase of the Legend of Heroes series.

Key features include a top-down view with random encounters, auto-battles, and a ‘Scene Select’ mode. A ‘Gallery’ mode is also included, allowing players to view original manuals and package designs.
