The Legend of Zelda celebrates 40th anniversary with symphonic concert
The Legend of Zelda franchise is marking its 40th anniversary with various celebrations, including a symphonic event titled ‘VG Play: Concierto del Tiempo’. The concert, performed by the Camerata del Pacífico, will feature orchestral arrangements of music from the iconic Nintendo series, aiming to recreate the sonic atmosphere of the adventures of Link and Zelda.
In addition to official celebrations, fan interest remains high regarding potential remakes. A fan developer is currently working on a project to reimagine the classic title ‘A Link to the Past’ using an HD-2D aesthetic, similar to the style used in Square Enix titles. This fan-made project includes updated lighting, realistic effects, improved enemy AI, a day-night cycle, and modernized sound design while maintaining the original sprite art.
