The Legend of Zelda live-action film title and logo revealed

Nintendo and Arad Productions have officially announced the title and first logo for the live-action film adaptation of the action-adventure game series, ‘The Legend of Zelda’. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on April 30, 2027, distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Produced by Nintendo Fellow Shigeru Miyamoto and Arad Productions head Avi Arad, the project is directed by Wes Ball. Nintendo will fund more than 50% of the production costs, with Sony Pictures Entertainment providing co-financing and global distribution. The cast features Bo Bragason as Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link.
