The Legend Stars Park hosts Tanoshii No Omatsuri 2026 festival

The Legend Stars Park Jatim Park 3 hosted the Tanoshii No Omatsuri 2026 festival in Batu, East Java, on August 16, 2026. This second edition of the Japanese culture festival drew approximately 500 cosplayers from various regions across Indonesia, including West Java.

The event featured a variety of activities centered on Japanese popular culture, such as a Cosplay Walk Competition, Cosplay Street Challenge, Cosplay Parade, mini-games, Japanese street food, and a bazaar. The festival also included performances from idol groups, DJ performers, and notable Indonesian cosplayer Miyuchiyori.

Endang Shobirin, the Coordinator Manager of Jawa Timur Park 3, stated that the festival aims to provide a unique experience for visitors and serve as a creative space for the Japanese culture community. The event is intended to boost tourism, with goals to increase visitor numbers by up to 20 percent.
