The Little Prince to receive new live-action film adaptation

A new live-action film adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic “The Little Prince” is in development. The project aims to blend the biographical history of the author with the fantasy elements of his famous work.

Norwegian director Morten Tyldum, known for “The Imitation Game,” is set to direct the feature. The screenplay will be written by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy. The production is being developed in collaboration with Le Petit Prince Groupe, the entity responsible for managing Saint-Exupéry’s legacy.

The narrative is expected to utilize advanced visual effects to bring the titular character to life while using live-action sequences to explore the life of Saint-Exupéry. The film intends to serve as a large-scale family adventure that appeals to both longtime readers and new generations.
