The London Tea Room launches new online bakery in St. Louis

The London Tea Room, a family-run business in St. Louis, Missouri, has launched a new online bakery service. Located in the DeBaliviere Place neighborhood near Forest Park, the expansion allows customers to order British-inspired items without requiring a traditional full tea service.

The online menu features sweet scones with cream and jam, rotating macaron flavors, blueberry lemon cake, English sausage rolls, shepherd’s pie, and ready-to-drink teas. Owners Josh and Nathan Richardson stated that the move aims to reintroduce a la carte options to a business that had recently focused primarily on afternoon and high tea experiences.

The tea room is part of a multi-generational family business history in St. Louis that began with British expatriates Pat and Alan Richardson, who originally established a furniture company in 1995.
