The fantasy series ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is returning for a new season on Prime Video. The production, noted for having one of the highest budgets in television history, continues to explore the Second Age of Middle-earth.

In the lore of J.R.R. Tolkien, the forging of the Rings of Power involves 20 major rings: three for the Elves, seven for the Dwarves, and nine for Men, alongside Sauron’s One Ring created to control the others. While the rings granted wealth and power, they also brought varying degrees of corruption, such as increased greed for the Dwarves and a tragic transformation for the Men who wore them.
