Prime Video releases Season 3 trailer for The Rings of Power

Prime Video has released the official trailer and new promotional artwork for the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, scheduled to premiere on November 11, 2026. The new season features a five-year time jump from the events of Season 2, placing the story at the height of the war between the Elves and Sauron.

Central to the new season is Sauron’s quest to forge the One Ring within his fortress of Barad-dûr to achieve absolute control over Middle-earth. The trailer introduces the Nazgnagôl, human servants who will eventually transform into the legendary Nazgûl. Other key plot points include the political instability in Númenor, the isolation of the Dwarves in Khazad-dûm, and Gandalf’s emergence as a powerful wizard in the eastern lands of Rhûn.

The release schedule for the eight episodes will be split into three parts: the first four episodes on November 11, two episodes on November 18, and the final two on November 25. New cast members include Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn and Simon Pegg, who provides the voice for the Balrog.
