Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman star in ‘The Love Hypothesis’

Actors Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman are starring in the Prime Video film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood’s bestselling romance novel, ‘The Love Hypothesis’. The story follows Olive Smith, a biology PhD candidate at Stanford University, who enters into a fake relationship with a prestigious professor, Adam Carlsen, to convince her best friend of her romantic status.

Reinhart noted that the source material originated from fan fiction inspired by the ‘Reylo’ dynamic from the Star Wars sequel trilogy. During promotional activities in Brazil, the actors practiced key lines from the script in Portuguese to engage with local fans.
