The Macallan and Changi Airport launch luxury spirits initiatives

The Macallan has partnered with Lotte Duty Free to launch the Carta Nautica 20 Years Old, a global travel retail exclusive debuting at Singapore Changi Airport. Available at Changi from 28 September to 18 October 2026, the expression is part of a four-part collection inspired by the transatlantic journey of oak. The whisky is matured in sherry-seasoned casks before being transferred to former bourbon casks. The launch includes pop-up activations at Changi Terminals 2 and 3, featuring interactive displays and personalized gifting options.

Additionally, Changi Airport Group and Lotte Duty Free are hosting the fifth edition of the World of Wines & Spirits (WOWS) programme. The 2026 showcase, titled ‘The Vault’, features over 60 rare bottles from more than 30 houses. High-value items include The Macallan Red Collection Set, valued at S$368,200, and Tales of The Macallan Volume II, a 73-year-old single malt. The program will culminate in an invitation-only event at the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach in October 2026.
