The Magic Faraway Tree fantasy film opens in Brazil on September 10

The family‑friendly fantasy ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ (original title *The Magic Faraway Tree*) will debut in Brazilian cinemas on 10 September. The film adapts Enid Blyton’s classic children’s series and is directed by Ben Gregor from a screenplay by Simon Farnaby.

It features a star‑studded cast including Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Rebecca Ferguson, Nicola Coughlan and Nonso Anozie. The story follows parents Tim (Garfield) and Polly (Foy) who move their children to the countryside, where the youngest meets a fairy who introduces them to a magical tree that opens portals to wondrous worlds. Rebecca Ferguson portrays the main antagonist who seeks to capture children.

The movie is distributed in Brazil by Diamond Films and is positioned as a multi‑generational adventure that blends fantasy, adventure and familiar elements for both children and adults.
