The Mandalorian and Grogu Home Release Announced for Summer 2024

Actor Brendan Wayne, who performed as Din Djarin in the original series, discussed his physical portrayal of the Mandalorian character and the legacy of his grandfather, John Wayne, in an exclusive interview. He explained how movement and posture convey emotion when the face is hidden by the armor.

The same franchise will return to fans this summer with the digital and physical home release of the Mandalorian and Grogu film. The movie becomes available on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango on July 21, followed by a 4K Ultra HD and Blu‑ray launch on August 25. A Beskar Collector’s Edition will include special packaging, a SteelBook, metal posters and extensive behind‑the‑scenes featurettes, while audio commentary from director Jon Favreau will be offered on the digital edition.
