The Married Killer concludes with 10.7% peak viewership

The MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Married Killer’ concluded its run with a finale that achieved a peak viewership rating of 10.7% nationwide, according to Nielsen Korea.

The final episode centered on the intense confrontation between Yu Bo-na (Gong Hyo-jin) and Leila (Lee Elijah). During the climax, Yu Bo-na took a bullet intended for Kwon Tae-sung (Jung Joon-won). While Leila was eventually killed by special forces, the story followed the aftermath of the Kingfisher incident. Kwon Tae-sung, a journalist, successfully cleared the Kingfisher's reputation by uncovering the truth behind the victims' crimes.

Six months later, the series concluded with a reunion between Yu Bo-na and Kwon Tae-sung at a mountain cabin. Despite the complexities of her secret identity, the couple decided to pursue a life together. The episode ended with a hint of Yu Bo-na's continued involvement in vigilante activities after hearing news of a violent crime.
