The Monkees release anniversary edition of ‘Good Times!’ and Micky Dolenz announces new EP

The Monkees are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2016 album ‘Good Times!’ with an expanded deluxe edition. The release includes the original album alongside unreleased instrumental versions of every track, four rare session outtakes, and the digital debut of “A Better World.” An audiophile vinyl edition was also released through the Rhino Reserve series.

In related news, Micky Dolenz, the last living member of the group, is releasing a new solo EP titled ‘Timeless’ on September 4. Produced by former Rhino executive John Hughes via Near Mint Music, the six-track project features contributions from various songwriters, including Paul Westerberg, Vicki Peterson, and Andy Partridge. The EP continues Dolenz’s long-standing tradition of recording new material through collaborations with established artists.
