Andy Grush and Taylor Newton explained that the musical score aims to evolve alongside the show’s expanding universe. The composers intend to build upon the established themes of Egypt, the future, and the present to create a sense of musical progression. For the character of Apocalypse, the duo developed a motif intended to convey a sense of something unstoppable, dark, and evil.
