The North Face to host 60th anniversary exhibition in Tokyo

Goldwin Inc. will host a special exhibition titled ‘NEVER STOP EXPLORING EXHIBITION’ to commemorate the 60th anniversary of The North Face. The event is scheduled to take place from October 1 to October 31, 2026, at the company’s Tokyo headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo.

Under the theme ‘EXPLORING WITH NATURE,’ the exhibition will showcase ten elements that define the brand’s history and future. Highlights include prototype products featuring Voxeloft technology, which adjusts thermal insulation by managing air volume, and a display of collaboration products from the 2000s. The exhibition will also feature the Summit Series and historical gear from the brand’s second-generation founder, Kenneth Haslop Cropp.

As part of the anniversary, Machi no Kenkyujo Co., Ltd. is collaborating on the ‘LITTLEWILD’ segment. This component focuses on nature exploration for children through water-themed workshops. These activities aim to foster curiosity by encouraging children to imagine the invisible movements of water within plants and landscapes, treating nature as a partner for exploration rather than just a subject of study.
