The Ocean prepares new album Solaris following lineup changes

The progressive metal collective The Ocean is preparing to release its new album, Solaris. The project marks a significant period of transition for the band following the departure of several members, including vocalist Loïc and drummer Paul.

Creative lead Robin Staps has maintained the group's direction, developing the new album with a revised lineup that includes three guitarists and two vocalists. The album is conceptually inspired by the 1972 film of the same name by Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky.

To promote the release, the band has scheduled various international activities, including a performance in Morocco, a planned appearance in India in October, and a European tour throughout November and December.
