Christopher Nolan’s film adaptation of Homer’s epic, The Odyssey, has achieved massive commercial success, surpassing $1.6 billion at the global box office. The film has become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, overtaking Deadpool & Wolverine, and is currently the second highest-grossing Universal Pictures film, trailing only Jurassic World.

Key milestones include the film crossing the $1 billion mark in international markets—the first standalone, non-sequel, and non-remake to do so since Avatar in 2009. The production has also set a record for IMAX, earning approximately $486 million through premium formats and becoming the highest-grossing IMAX film in history.

In South Korea, the film reached the 10 million viewer milestone within 33 days of release.
