The Offspring guitarist Noodles steps away from live shows due to health issue

Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman, the 63-year-old co-founding guitarist of the American punk rock band The Offspring, has announced he is temporarily stepping away from live performances to address a “sudden and fairly serious health issue.”

Wasserman shared the news via social media on October 21, 2026, expressing deep sadness over the decision but noting that his bandmates are being “super supportive.” While he did not disclose the specific nature of his medical condition or provide a timeline for his return, he expressed hope to be back on stage “sooner rather than later.”

The band intends to continue its “Supercharged” tour schedule in his absence. Upcoming scheduled performances include a show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on October 24, SEMA Fest in Las Vegas on November 6, and the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City on November 21. The group is also slated to perform at the iHeartRadio ALTer Ego festival in Los Angeles in January 2027. No official replacement for Wasserman has been named for these dates.
